Oh the disappointment of the rest of the series was instantly remedied by that simple fact ^___^. Ah that was worth it. Nice epic battle too <3. But the most important part was that HE PROTECTED HERRRR DDD.

And maybe I'm overanalyzing this, but does anyone else think that his sacrifice was
slightly out of character for a mazoku? Even if he protected her because she was
the only one who could defeat Shabranigdu (which, in itself, is kinda odd IMO,
even with the explanation they gave o_o I was kinda just like wtf at Xelloss
throwing attacks at his own lord lol), I don't know if a mazoku who is supposed
to appreciate his own self more than anyone else should be able to do that. This
makes me re-evaluate their values--maybe as a higher ranked mazoku he
prioritizes the ultimate goal of mazoku over his own existence? Hm. That's an interesting little twist on his character. I might have to rethink how I portray him in my fanfics from now on .

Anyway, I just had to share the OMG HE PROTECTED HERRRRR moment I had . Hope
